KIMAANY

KENGNE BLAISE(KIMAANY) was Born on 5th febuary 1972 and raised in Bafoussam, west province of cameroon. He started his primary education in the St-Joseph primary school. He entered College in 1990. He was the lead vocal of the school music group. In 1992 he moved to Douala the economic capital of Cameroon to follow his destiny in music. He met Mr Gregory Alen a Reggea Presentator in a local radio station in Douala. Thats how Kimaany really started to know more about Reggea music.

He recorded his first Album in AMCY. Then six years later he worked on SAVE AFRICA an amzing album that was mixed in JEAN MARRIE's Home studio in Paris.
IN 2001 he released his First Album SAVE AFRICA which contained 8 tracks. In 2002 he performed in a famous cameroon TV show called TAM-TAM weekend and it was a big success. IN 2003 he did his first national
tour in a project to FIGTH AGAINST MALARIA in the ten provinces of Cameroon.

January 3rd KIMAANY opened for ALPHA BLONDY at the Douala Renufication staduim.

2004 was his first Africa tour
